The region is known for it hand-carved stone crafts that have been passed down for generations. Artisans use hand tools to carve and smooth out the stone work. The stone is stained a beautiful, rich teal with a smooth and shiny finish. The bookends are a substantial, heavy stonework, each a piece of art.
